 FREE VESSEL SAFETY CHECKS The Coast Guard Auxiliary offers free Vessel Safety Checks to the Recreational Boating public.  We can be seen at local boat launches giving Vessel Safety Checks. A Vessel Safety Check is an educational experience were our examiners can look at your boat and it's equipment to make sure that you are in compliance with Boating Regulation

BOATING SAFETY CLASSES. We offer a wide variety of Boating Safety classes for the Recreational Boating Public.  We give an 8 hour course on the basics of Boating which meets the requirements of the State of Michigan for PWC operations. We also offer a more in depth Boating Safety and Seamanship classes. The Auxiliary also present classes on Navigation, Sailing and many other topics.
